For local assistance with the process of downloading and using your data, contact UC Data Archive & Technical Assistance (UC DATA) at the Survey Research Center (e-mail: ucdata@berkeley.edu)

ICPSR codebooks are available electronically and can be downloaded from the ICPSR web site. In addition, UC DATA owns print copies of many of the codebooks.

Codebooks are shelved in alphabetical order by ICPSR study title in the Data Archive - Room C103 of the Survey Research Center 2538 Channing Way. Codebooks may be used in the archive or borrowed for copying (4-hr limit).

Researchers may browse the codebook collection during regular business hours (Mon-Thurs 9:00-12:00, 1:00-5:00) or request archive staff to check for a particular codebook by sending e-mail with the ICPSR study number and title to ucdata@berkeley.edu.
