Audit Procedures for Workers Comp Insurance
UC DATA is assisting the Commission, the DWC/Audit Unit and an advisory group of legislators and stakeholders in improving the audit procedures that are meant to ensure compliance by claims administrators with regulatory and statutory requirements. This on-going effort involves assessing Audit Unit statistics, sampling methods, simplification of compensation payments to workers and redesigning the penalty structure used for violations.
